1. Dark Mode: Very modern, easy on the eyes, and it makes vibrant colors pop.
2. Mixing Art Mediums: Use different art mediums to create your website banners or images throughout your site. Overlay illustrations, shapes, and photographs to create something exciting!
3. 3D Elements & Shadows: Add 3D versions of images within your website along with the use of shadows for bold visual appeal.
4. Hand Drawn Elements: Illustrations are very popular this year, along with the use of handwriting fonts.
5. Bold Colors & Gradients: This is an easy way to grab visitors attention and get them excited about your content. Even if your brand colors are not bold colors, try adding a bold accent color in an element in your images where it isn’t compromising your branding standards, but can add something extra to grab attention. Using a gradient of your current colors can also make a bold statement.
6. Creative Use of Fonts: Think of your fonts as an extension to your design, where they can be a design element also. Add graphics into the font, or search out creative new bold fonts that add character.
7. Solid Frames of Space: White space is your friend! Adding solid frames of space around elements on your website not only helps keep a clean look but helps emphasize your elements more! We have been seeing this more, and also use this on our site as well. (Check out our homepage for an example.)
